Oh Holy Day

There's no Sunday we can pass without the religious feeling in it. We decided to have a prayer at Lembah Karmel Church on December 30, 2012 while being in Puncak. It's a Catholic church but the praise and worship is just same like Christian ones (they use some musical instruments, the praise is rousing, and they use speaking-in-tongues, too) so I didn't feel awkward to pray there (cause I'm a real Christian).

It takes many stairs to get there. We just almost arrived to the building of the church.

The inside of the church

I forget the Pastor's name. but one thing I never forget, He's really great and also funny in preaching.

After the church's finished, we went to the Holy Water area, it's on the floor below the church bulding. The water is really clean that you can drink it, and actually it's specified for drinking, not for washing.

These 8 photos above were taken near the Holy Water area.

Then we had a walk around Lembah Karmel and took some photos before getting back to the car.

What beautiful clouds (:

The Batik family I found there. They looked unified!

The wind made my hair really messy.

Finally we went to the car. I took some photos from the windowpane near my seat. Some look blurry, but the real views were just really nice.

The bus that was behind our car.

It was a nice day overall. And there's a funny moment that day. After the prayer was finished, we decided to have just some snacks downstairs to eliminate our hunger a bit (of course everyone would get hungry after the church because the church's located on the highest floor and there's no lift or escalators that we have to walk to get there) before having our lunch at the restaurant far away from Lembah Karmel. But do you know what? First, we bought rabbit satay with lontong, but then we had fried snacks, boiled peanuts, cincau, nasi uduk, and also porridge. We ended up getting satiety and said: "What did we say? Snacks? Are these snacks?" Hahaha
